Clean Snacks for Your Kid’s Lunchbox
Finding healthy snacks to pack in your kid’s lunchbox can be a challenge, but it doesn’t have to be. With a little creativity and planning, you can create a lunchbox filled with clean, nutritious snacks that your child will love. Whether you’re a busy parent or a health-conscious caregiver, this guide will help you make informed decisions when it comes to choosing clean snacks for your kid’s lunchbox.
It goes without saying that homemade snacks using real whole foods trumps anything you can find on store shelves.

These snacks are not perfect, but they do not contain the following:
- Artificial Flavors
- Artificial Colors
- GMO
- High Fructose Corn Syrup
- Highly inflammatory oils
- Most terrible preservatives (BHT, TBHQ, phosphates, carrageenan, etc)
- Natural flavors
Although many of the fruit bars and snacks only contain fruit, they should be consumed on occasion. Dried fruit may stick to the surface of teeth and cause cavities. It is also much higher in sugar than real fresh fruit (blood sugar spikes). Choose these snacks on occasion and ideally, pair them with a protein (ex – a handful of nuts).
Many of these can be found at Kroger, Target, Costco, and Whole Foods while others are on company websites like Truvani and Health Warrior. If you’d like to check out some of my favorites, please take a look at this page for my recommendations and discount codes.
